Hello Again!
I'm Megan Jean
Over the past 7 years I have been polishing my skills as a Product Designer. My key focuses are accessibility design, interface aesthetics, leadership and user-centered design interactions. I worked for a B2B product company in the construction industry as a Product Designer. I love when designs are seamless, never hinder a user, and people of all backgrounds and abilities can use them.
I was the Interim Design Operations Lead at Popmenu while my boss was on maternity leave that ended August 2022. I led a team of 7 staff designers and 15 contract designers through an acquisition. I helped unblock designers, provided guidance, developed programs, defined strategy and made sure projects had the right members assigned to them. Prior to that, I was a Product Designer at Daito Design where I worked on enterprise software. I received a UI/UX Design Certificate at the University of Texas, Austin, McCombs School of Business in 2019.
I'm passionate about user experiences that go completely unnoticed by the user and are respectful of their time.

A Little Bit About Me ⛰️
In my free time, I cook, play games with friends, spend time in nature with my dog, snowboard, and shop with my partner for fun new ingredients to cook with. When life allows, my top travel destinations include South East Asia, Africa and also visiting my very large family in the enchanting desert mountains of New Mexico.
I'm always reading something new and referencing About Face: The Essentials of Interaction Design by Alan Cooper... or thoroughly enjoying reruns of the undisputed classics, Planet Earth or rewatching Avatar: The Last Air Bender.
